Project Coordinator / Financial Administration Officer – Part-Time (6-month Fixed Term Contract – maternity cover)


Do you have strong organisational, administrative and project financial skills and used to working inclusively with a wide range of users? If so, we would love to have you join our team. This position is supporting CBM Global’s disability, advocacy and community mental health teams working in humanitarian and development programmes.

CBM Global have a 6-month fixed term, part-time maternity cover contract opportunity to help on a number of projects, to enable teams to use budgets to carry out their functions with ease, and provide reports on how the team’s resources and funds are being utilised. You will also organise inclusive meetings and workshops, and provide administrative coordination support to the Advocacy Director/Community Mental Health Director on business development, funding proposals and cost recovery strategy.

What we’re looking for: A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in financial, budgetary, administrative management, coordinating and supporting projects, ideally in the NGO sector. You’ll have good organisational skills and be a skilled communicator, with knowledge of how to ensure accessible and inclusive processes. You’ll enjoy being proactive in using your own initiative, with the ability to identify issues and problem solve. English is the working language of CBM Global, and proficiency is esential for this job. If you happen to have other language skills, including sign language, all the better but this is not essential.

Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week, equivalent to 60% of full-time. Fixed term contract for six months.

Salary: £18,000-£24,000 GBP for 22.5 hours per week.
