Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) is a Christian humanitarian social
organization that works to bring a sustainable change to the welfare
of children, families, and communities living in poverty. WVI dedicated
itself to cooperate with the most vulnerable communities regardless
of religion, race, ethnicity, and gender.
More than 20 years, Wahana Visi Indonesia has been implementing
community development programs focusing on children. WVI has
emphasized long-termed development programs by using an
approach of sustainable area program or Area Program
for 10-15 years through the operational offices in WVI’s assisted area.
Wahana Visi Indonesia is currently seeking the following position in Surabaya
that is: Project Coordinator – Surabaya
Is responsible to plan, implement, monitor, evaluate, and develop the capacity of beneficiaries and partners, and facilitate the implementation of initiatives that are done by the society to elevate and maintain the wellbeing of children and their families, which in-line with the urban design at the level of districts and villages, especially where are located in the projects of AWAKE and HSBC in the Surabaya Area Program.
AWAKE is a PNS (Project Non-Sponsorship) or grant project that works to provide supplemental foods for elementary students and improve their parents’ capacities related to health, nutrition, and child protection.
HSBC is COVID-19 emergency relief for a livelihood project that is funded by HSBC for supporting the most vulnerable communities and small-medium enterprises.
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant major with preferable majors in health and social.
- Min. 3 years of work experience or min. 6 months of work experience as a facilitator. Preferable work experience in working urban area and the area program of Wahana Visi Indonesia.
- Experience in facilitating and building interpersonal relationships.
- Have a good knowledge of development & society mobilization and analytical thinking.
- This position is only open for people who live in Surabaya.
